How do you get to the Springfield Gardens Methodist Church from Jamaica Train Station by BUS? The address is 131-29 Farmers Boulevard. If anyone can help me out, that would be great. Thanks!

That address is located between Davis St & Bennett Ct.
Step 1: Cross Bennett Ct and wait for Q3 Jamaica
Step 2: Take Q3 to Jamaica Bus Terminal aka 165th St Bus Terminal.
Step 3: After you get off at Jamaica/165th St Bus Terminal, go passes the Long Island Bus Office, where there is layover for MTA Bus Company.
Step 4: Take either Q6,, Q8, Q9, Q40, Q89 buses to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av where is Jamaica Station for LIRR & AirTrain JFK, well as Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av Subway Station.

I’m planning a mini road trip from Chicago to St. Louis this summer, just for a weekend. We’ll be passing through Springfield, and I’ve always wanted to check it out. Is there anything fun to do for 19-21 year olds? I heard there’s an amusement park nearby? Or is there a nature reserve nearby? Anything outdoorsy, cheap, fun, exciting, etc.?

not realy to much for that age group
unless your into History and checking the Lincoln Sites in and around Springfield
good place to eat is Smokey Bones just off Dirkson drive

I thought that Springfield 1903 didnt have a place to put a scope? how did he mount on on? it was a 1903 right?

Well..

All of the enemy combatants in WW2 had scoped rifles available.

The U.S. used two different rifles:

The Germans used three, though two were predominate.

and so on. Scopes were in wide civilian use for over eighty years prior to the war.

Okay, I moved here to Springfield, MO, about a year and a half ago from Los Angeles (which I might add has a very prominent music scene) and I’m just wondering why there is no music scene out here in the Mid-West and why all thesigned bands try their hardest to avoid this place. The nearest venues that most bands I like (metal bands by the way) play at are about three ours away in St. Louis and Kansas City. The local scene (which has only two bands at least) isn’t that great either.

cause they don’t want to be seen on the Simpsons!

This summer my girlfriend and I are planning on meeting some friends in Springfield, Illinois because it is the same distance for all of us to drive, but we don’t know what there is to do there.

Hope you like the movie "Children of the Corn", ’cause that’s all that’s here – CORN! Oh and beans!

I just bought a Springfield XD 40 subcompact and I cant find anything that tells me about the little red clip that comes with the gun kit.

I believe it’s an empty chamber "flag"

Stick the two pronged end into your chamber and the piece that runs perpendicular to that will stick out of the ejection port not allowing the gun into battery. It’s a fast visual indication that the weapon is safe.

I need to know where i can find a store that sells mac games in Springfield, missouri. Best Buy doesn’t seem to have any and i really want to get some games.

Want games? Buy a PC.
Haha, sucker.

I want to take my kids to see the fireworks they have at the "I Love America" celebration in Springfield, MO but I don’t want to fight the crowds. Does anyone LOCAL know the best place to watch from town?

On TV.

We have seen both cities but dont know where it would be better to live after we retire? I know Springfield is older and Eugene has more hippies and protesters. Which city would give us a better quality of life?

I would choose Springfield myself, since it’s smaller and less
youth oriented, than the college town of Eugene. My aunt
moved from S. California and retired in a new subdivision
outside of Eugene tho. And lived there about 20 years. She
had everything in her community and didn’t need to go far to
get to everything. She drove up to Portland alot to shop as
she liked the big mall at Washington Square, and had family
in the city. She was very contented in Eugene, and her
children eventually moved there from other locations.
