Yard has a bare spot that would be hard to mow & think needs a quick growing ground cover. It’s in New England & the spot gets a lot of sun. Any suggestions that I could plant now?
Hi:
There are some good ground covers you could use for your sunny location. Here are a few:
Pachysandra
Creeping Thyme
Creeping Rosemary
Creeping Mint
Dwarf evergreen shrubs (Hemlock and some small Junipers)
These are just a few. I will link you to the gallery of plants section of my website. There are a variety of plants that may help you with finding your ground cover. I will also link you to the site map, as this page has everything that is on the website. Browse through and see if you can find any other information that may help you also. Good luck to you and have a great day!

My textbook keeps talking about the New England colonies and the Chesapeake colonies… what’s the difference?
were the Chesapeake colonies the puritans?
The New England colonies contain states in the Northeast corner of the USA, including Rhode Island, Mass., Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. The Chesapeake Colonies I’m pretty sure is mostly Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina and idk which else for sure. Some of their differences besides geography could be their trading on raw materials and the way their economy ran, and also their religious groups which pretty much ran the states.
For the 2008 season, my friend and I are planning to go to the game at New England because our two favorite teams are playing. What are the different seats and their costs?
Try the teams website once they announce tickets go on sale.

I’m browsing colleges, and I am wondering about what I want to do in life. I want to be involved in enviornmental sciences, but also in musical programs. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good college in New England who can fit those needs. Any ideas?
All feedback appreciated.
Try a liberal arts school that’s also strong in science – like Amherst, Smith, or Williams.

I am getting married next spring and my fiance and I are thinking of driving up the New England coast for our honeymoon. We want to spend some time in New York City, but we would also like to visit Boston and other sites and cities. Any suggestions?
I’m not sure where you are starting from. Obviously, Philadelphia and Washington have plenty to do and see.
New York and Boston are great, naturally. We start getting into weather issues, depending on the time of year you’ll be going. Cape Cod has some nice places. Newport, R.I., is pretty spectacular. The Maine coast is very pretty.
The New England Patriots completed a perfect season. What is the only other NFL team to complete a perfect season?
They have only completed a perfect regular season which 3 other teams have done. The Chicago bears did it twice but lost in the championship game and then the 72 dolphins went all the way.
What was the relationship between the New England Colonists and the Native Amercians like? I need to answer this for a history project but I know each colony within New England was a litte different. What would be a good way to go about answering this?
