alot of announcers say Kaufman stadium is the nicest what do you guys like the best?

Also behind the outfield at arlington stadium is that apartments?

Arlington Stadium is a parking lot. And while ol’ Arlington Stadium was something of a dump, a bare-bones, overgrown minor league park (really), it did have a certain measure of charm, and the parking lot it is now has much less.

Rangers Ballpark In Arlington (apparently the current, official public name) is quite a pleasant park at which to take in a game. I don’t know what "nicest" is supposed to capture or entail; most fans are Texas friendly, the staff tends to be helpful, plenty of concessions and the lines ain’t too harsh, TV screens for watching the game while waiting, good sightlines (the seats are cranked toward the infield), roomy. Game-going fans will not be miserable (unless they forget sunscreen for day games).

I haven’t been to all the current parks so I cannot say which I like best, but of those I have visited, and I’ve been to The Ballpark* a lot, it’s my favorite.

The windowed building behind center field is offices. The team uses some, but others are available for rental.

* It’ll always be "The Ballpark In Arlington" to me.

I just recently started seeing this girl that lives in Arlington, TX. I live a couple hours away. Last weekend was my first time to drive to her, and we spent the weekend just laying around her apartment and stuff. I’m going again this weekend, and we want to kinda get out and do something, but she wants me to decide what. I’m pretty strapped for money, though. So besides restaurants, what are some fun dating ideas on a tight budget in Arlington, TX?

With the price of gas so high you spend all of your "date money" just driving 2 hours to see her. She’s probably aware of your financial situation and wants you to take the lead on how much to spend. Here are some ideas. Have fun.

Pack a lunch or stop and get some burgers and go to the park for a picnic. Take a blanket to lay on and a ball or Frisbee to throw around.

Go to the Ft. Worth zoo. There is an entrance fee, but you can stay as long as you want. Find a bench in the shade and sit and talk awhile over a Coke.

Go to The Parks Mall in Arlington and go ice skating at the rink there.

Rent a movie and make some popcorn for a ‘movie date’.

Go to nearby Grand Prairie to an Airhogs minor league baseball game. General admission tickets are $6.

Is there a pool at her apartment? Bring your suit and take a dip.

I am planning on moving to the DC area but am not looking into spending alot of money on an apartment. Al I am looking for is a simple apartment in a safe neighborhood that is clean and has good management. Can you reccomend any? Arlington, Richmond, etc…?

I live in Arlington Tx and have started a Girl Scout troop we need some where to meet because I live in a small apartment. Does anyone know where we could have weekday evening meetings? I’d be grateful for any help.

My daughter girl scout troop meets at her school
Hers mets ever other Friday 6:30 to 8 pm
When she was younger it was 6 to 7:30

You can call your daughter school, and see if they let girl scouts use space for free

I know a boy scout group that meet at a church. The church does not charge them anything, but the boy scouts help with leaves and planting in the spring and others things instead of money

For free, your best bet is a church or a school

I recently graduated from college and accepted a position with Aetna. My office will be located in Arlington, but I have my heart set on living in Dallas so that I may enjoy all the city has to offer. But I am not opposed to living in Arlington, because I know it would cut down my commute time.

A little about me: Single Black female, 21, from Buffalo,NY. Looking for a diverse community with other young professionals. I will have a salary of $45,000 but I’m not too sure far that goes in Dallas for an apartment.

I want a nice apartment (that doesnt mean luxury lol) where I can easiyl find things to do in the area (I like to shop and try new resturants and museums) .I’ve heard things about the village and i was strongly considering it, but I think the commute would kill me. Am I correct? Any suggestions on good areas, areas to stay away from, or anything you all deem important given my situation is greatly appreciated.

Living in Dallas and working in Arlington would make for a long, stressful commute! Not necessarily that far, but the traffic would be a nighmare. Parts of Arlington are really nice, but there’s really no nightlife. Have you considered living in downtown Fort Worth?? It’s cleaner and safer than Dallas, and much closer to Arlington without much traffic. Plus it’s not nearly as expensive as Dallas, and there is plenty to do. They’re starting to renovate some old buildings to make lofts, so there are some pretty cool places to live.

I am living in apartment right now that my background didnt show up when it went through the application process. I am currently on probation right now and will be getting off within the year. I want to move in to another apt complex but am having difficulties with my background.

Try the site below, they don’t have apartments…but good deals on homes and etc. They don’t do a criminal background.

I recently moved into an apartment complex in Arlington County that is privately owned (landlord, not a leasing company) and have found the building in disrepair (roach infestation, maintenance problems, etc). Is there a government agency that inspects buildings that I could possibly contact to see if the landlord is in neglect and possible violations of this property?

I had the same problem, print out the Tenant’s Rights Guide from your State Attorney General, the go to your local Department of Public Works, usually located in the same building (or near it) as your city court. They will send an inspector to your building, you cannot get in any trouble with your landlord for calling them. Any violations that are found will be documented, and a notice will be sent to your landlord, informing him to have the repairs made by a specified date. You can go down to the office of Public Works and get a printout of the violations for your personal records also (I think it cost me a quarter or something) Good documents to have in case you wind up in court, if you move you may be able to get some of your rent back as the apartment complex was uninhabitable. The Tenent’s Rights Guide with outline all of his responsibilities. Hope this helped.

My fiancee and I are currently looking for an apartment in Northern NJ and it seems we have run out of options! We want to move into an apartment in either Lyndhurst, Rutherford, Nutley, or North Arlington. So far we have tried going through a real estate agency and using craigslist… please help!
Note: My fiancee and are looking to move into a two family home – not an apartment complex. Thanks for the help!

Try this website…I have narrowed down the search for you to give you some results:

Make sure to check out the community clips and floorplans on this. Compared to all the other websites, this one really gives the consumer what they are looking for. I know this really helped me when I was moving so good luck!
